Just months after Prohibition ended on December 5, 1933, the Edina Village Council approved Liquor License No. 1 for the first liquor store within city limits. Hay & Stenson opened at 50th and France in March 1934 as the village’s only off-sale liquor establishment.

Yoga instructor Beth Shaw was on a bike ride in southern California when she had the idea to create YogaFit, a studio with traditional warm-up and cool-down workouts, which offers “real yoga for real people,” she says.

 

Edina High School (EHS) seniors and juniors have received a fresh look at ethics in the workplace and life thanks to the efforts of Jerry Potter, a longtime Edina Rotarian who passed away this past June.
